What you should think of when visiting the rock-cut cellars
The whole year, temperatures in the rock-cut cellars are as cold as 8 to 12° Celsius. Please put on appropriate clothing, so that you do not feel cold during the tour.
In order to take part in a tour, you should be a fairly good walker. Some stairs must be taken and the floors in the corridors are sometimes rough. Please also put on convenient and sturdy shoes.
Tours usually take 60 - 75 minutes on the average and start daily at 11, 13, 15, and 17 o'clock. On Saturdays and Sundays, there are extra tours starting at 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 o'clock. The regular english tours are always on sundays at 14:15 p.m..
From August 23, the 3 G rule will apply in Nuremberg
All participants must be vaccinated or recovered or tested (updated daily).
Please bring your supporting documents and show them when you check in.
• Mask requirement during the tour (FFP2 or medical mask)
• Distance control 1.5 m
• Hand disinfection before and after the tour
• Exclusion of persons in case of suspicion
• Not barrier-free!
